The band Orange Sky is currently stuck in Trinidad & Tobago due to various circumstances, not the least of which is the ' soca ' mentality of the ' players ' in the local entertainment industry. While the band is quite capable of playing just about anything it pleases, it's members much prefer to explore their own creative monsters. As a result, they are known for an undefinable yet infectious style of groove all their own. They live in the hope that one day, someone will save them from the stagnance of their local 'soca ' city and help them go international with a release, an agent, a label and a tour schedule. Unlike some bands that have done their own thing and formed their own label, released their own CD, organized, marketed and promoted their own tours and concerts, Orange Sky is sure that there are those out there much better suited to that kind of thing, who are probably out of work now because of bands who choose to travel the 'do-it-themselves ' route. The guys in the Sky are content to enjoy writing and playing the kind of hardcore, kick-ass, original fusion vibes that they have been known for in their home land.
